Rena Tanaka (田中 麗奈, Tanaka Rena, born 22 May 1980) is a Japanese actress and TV personality. In 1999, she won the Japanese Academy Award for "Best Newcomer" for her performance in Give It All ; in 2001 , she received a "Best Actress" nomination for First Love .

テンカラット 所属 [1] 。 来歴. 5歳の時から既に女優を志し、小学6年生の頃から実際に オーディション を受け始める [2] 。 高校在学中の 1998年 に放送された サントリー のジュース「 なっちゃん 」の CM の初代キャラクターで人気を集めた。 週刊ファミ通 1999年12月31日号、No576の表紙を飾った。 この年にOver Time-オーバー・タイムでドラマデビューするが、映画を中心に活動しその後2005年までドラマ出演がなかった。 2006年 、主演映画『 暗いところで待ち合わせ 』で孤独な盲目女性役を演じた。 この映画で共演した チェン・ボーリン とは同年『幻遊伝』でも再度共演した。
