Castellano, a North Bergen resident and a former mobster, was the only actor to shoot the iconic scene of Clemenza leaving the gun and taking the cannoli in Liberty State Park, Jersey City. The scene, which summed up the film's theme of family and domesticity, was half-improvised by the late actor and author Mark Seal.
