Richard Warren ( c. 1585 – c. 1628) was one of the passengers on the Pilgrim ship Mayflower and a signer of the Mayflower Compact. [1] [2] Early life. Richard Warren married Elizabeth Walker, at Great Amwell, Hertfordshire, on 14 April 1610. Elizabeth Walker was the daughter of Augustine Walker of Great Amwell.
Richard Warren was one of the 41 true Pilgrims who boarded the Mayflower in 1620 and helped establish Plymouth Colony. He left his wife and five children behind in England, but brought them over on the ship Anne when the Pilgrims reached Cape Cod in 1623. He died in 1628 and his descendants include famous figures such as Ulysses S Grant and Taylor Swift.
