Richard Gary Bowness (born January 25, 1955) is a Canadian professional ice hockey coach and former player who is the head coach of the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected in the second round, 26th overall, by the Atlanta Flames in the 1975 NHL Amateur Draft.
