Robbie van Leeuwen (born 29 October 1944) is a Dutch musician who was a guitarist, sitarist, background vocalist and main songwriter for multiple Dutch bands, including The Motions and Shocking Blue, with whom he recorded the worldwide hit "Venus".
Robbie van Leeuwen (Den Haag, 29 oktober 1944) is een Nederlandse popmuzikant. Hij begon zijn carrière in 1962 in The Atmospheres uit Den Haag. Daarna speelde hij als gitarist in The Ricochets , The Motions , Tee-Set en Shocking Blue .

Mini Bio. Dutch singer, guitarist and songwriter Robbie van Leeuwen was born on October 29, 1944. In 1967 he formed the rock group Shocking Blue; he had previously been a member of the well-known Dutch rock band The Motions.
