Carl Lee Perkins (* 9. April 1932 in Tiptonville, Tennessee, USA; † 19. Januar 1998 in Jackson, Tennessee) war ein amerikanischer Country-Musiker, Sänger, Gitarrist und Songwriter. Er gilt als Pionier des Rockabilly und wurde 1956 mit der ersten Fassung des von ihm geschriebenen Blue Suede Shoes bekannt.
Carl Lee Perkins (April 9, 1932 – January 19, 1998) [1] [2] was an American guitarist, singer and songwriter. A rockabilly great and pioneer of rock and roll, he began his recording career at the Sun Studio, in Memphis, beginning in 1954.
