The Yacht Party - (1932) Directed by Roy Mack – cast: Roger Wolfe Kahn, Gertrude Niesen, Melissa Mason (contortionist), Eaton Boys, Chauncey Morehouse (drums), Artie Shaw (clarinet). The film is shot on board a yacht and includes Kahn and his Orchestra playing " Way Down Yonder in New Orleans ", " Dinah " and "Lullaby of the Leaves".

He played in many orchestras including Roger Wolfe Kahn Orchestra , Jean Goldkette and with Paul Whiteman (appearing on one short number with Venuti in Whiteman’s 1930 film “King Of Jazz“). Lang was a versatile player who could back Blues singers, play Classical music, and jam with the greatest musicians of his day.
Lang and Joe Venuti recorded with Roger Wolfe Kahn and Jean Goldkette and performed with the Adrian Rollini Orchestra. [5] . Lang recorded with blues guitarist Lonnie Johnson under the name Blind Willie Dunn to hide his race [2] [3] [6] and as a tribute to blues guitarist Blind Lemon Jefferson. [4] .
Außerdem arbeitete er bei Louis Armstrong, Adrian Rollini, Roger Wolfe Kahn und Jean Goldkette. 1929 kam er zum Orchester von Paul Whiteman. Mit Venuti hatte er 1930 einen kurzen Auftritt in Whitemans Film The King Of Jazz. Als Bing Crosby Whiteman verließ, ging Lang als Begleitmusiker mit ihm.
