Rory Storm & The Hurricanes was een populaire Engelse band uit Liverpool, opgericht in het begin van de jaren 60. Zanger en voorman was Rory Storm (1938-1972, echte naam Alan Caldwell). Het bekendste lid van de band was echter Beatles-drummer Ringo Starr .
Storm, born Alan Caldwell, formed Rory Storm & the Hurricanes in Liverpool in 1957. Originally calling themselves the Raving Texans, they changed their name to Rory Storm & the Hurricanes in 1959, taking on Ringo Starr as their drummer the same year. As the lead vocalist, Storm was known as an excellent showman, climbing up pillars to balconies.

Rory Storm and the Hurricanes were one of the top bands in Liverpool between 1959 and 1962, bigger even than The Beatles. They shared the bill with the Fab Four on many occasions in their home city and in Hamburg, and their first drummer was none other than Richard Starkey – better known as Ringo Starr – who left the Hurricanes to join the Beatles.
