Rosanne Cash (born May 24, 1955) is an American singer-songwriter and author. She is the eldest daughter of country musician Johnny Cash and his first wife Vivian Cash. [1] Although Cash is often classified as a country artist, her music draws from many genres, including folk, pop, rock, blues and, most notably, Americana.
One of the country’s pre-eminent singer-songwriters, Rosanne Cash has released 15 albums that have earned 4 Grammys and 12 additional nominations. Cash is also an author of four books including the best-selling memoir Composed, which the Chicago Tribune called “one of the best accounts of an American life you’ll likely ever read.”.
