He is a drummer who was born in Greenwood, Mississippi, who was a member of the Crackerjacks and performed with Lou Rawls and Lobo. He has also worked with Alicia Bridges, Melanie and many others. In 1978 he joined Atlanta Rhythm Section and stayed with them until 1983.
