Russell Lincoln Ackoff (February 12, 1919 – October 29, 2009) was an American organizational theorist, consultant, and Anheuser-Busch Professor Emeritus of Management Science at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Russell Ackoff is a systems thinker and founding member of the Presentology Society. He discusses the most important aspect of life, having fun, and the paradoxes of systems thinking, such as denying the obvious, improving performance, and redesigning social systems. He shares his insights from 80 years of experience and challenges the conventional wisdom of science and the humanities.
