Moving from teenyboppers Slik through to Public Image Ltd is quite a journey. Even more so if it takes in The Skids, Pete Townsend and The Armoury Show.
Ray Weston. The Armoury Show were a British new wave band, formed in 1983 and consisting of Richard Jobson on vocals, Russell Webb on bass guitar, John McGeoch on guitar and John Doyle on drums. [1] The band was named after The Armory Show, a famous 1913 modern art exhibition held in New York.

He replaced Jim McGinlay in Slik shortly before their demise (triggered by the departure of Midge Ure to Rich Kids) - however, the only recorded work featuring Webb is their 1977 punk single as PVC2.
