Dezember 1949 wurde die technische Schule nach dem Landsmann Konstrukteur-Mechaniker V. I. Kalashnikov benannt , der hauptsächlich im Bereich des Schiffbaus arbeitete.

Rybinskaya shipyard is one of the brands in Kalashnikov group. The company goes back 70 years and manufactures all types of speedboats for the civilian market, search and rescue operations and military use.

Dmitry Kolobkov, Deputy General Director of the shipyard, talked about the company's export plans at a meeting with the management of the Kalashnikov Rybinsk River Transport School. As an option for its foreign customers, the company and the school are willing to arrange for training for the crews of vessels planned to be built for exports.
