Sainte-Anne-des-Lacs is a municipality in the regional county municipality of Les Pays-d'en-Haut in Quebec, Canada, located in the administrative region of Laurentides. The municipality was founded in 1946 and was assigned the municipal number 77035 by the Quebec government.
In 1953, Campbell-Partie-Est was renamed to Lac-des-Écorces. In 1955, its main settlement became an independent incorporated village, also called Lac-des-Écorces. In 1984, the township was renamed again, this time to Beaux-Rivages (French for "Beautiful Shores"), a reference to the beauty of the shores of Bark Lake and that of the many other lakes dotting the territory.
Demographics. Pop. In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Saint-Alexandre-des-Lacs had a population of 298 living in 129 of its 143 total private dwellings, a change of 11.2% from its 2016 population of 268. With a land area of 89.82 km 2 (34.68 sq mi), it had a population density of 3.3/km 2 (8.6/sq mi) in 2021.
