Billy Cobham. William Emanuel Cobham Jr. (born May 16, 1944) is a Panamanian–American jazz drummer who came to prominence in the late 1960s and early 1970s with trumpeter Miles Davis and then with the Mahavishnu Orchestra . He was inducted into the Modern Drummer Hall of Fame in 1987 [1] and the Classic Drummer Hall of Fame in 2013. [2]

Observations & Reflections is a studio album by jazz fusion drummer Billy Cobham, released in 1982 on the Elektra/Musician label. The album rose to No. 25 on the Billboard Top Jazz LPs chart.
The CD as a work stands up solid with School Days and The Dancer being additional all-time greats. Stanley's bass guitar (as lead) on 'Life Is Just A Game' is masterful with Billy Cobham and George Duke topping it off. Note that John McLaughlin plays-in Desert Song.
