Scott Griffin is an American musician who is best known as a former bassist for L.A. Guns and Ratt. In 2007, Griffin was announced as the bassist for L.A. Guns, having previously played in Dizzy Reed's cover band Hookers N' Blow, replacing Adam Hamilton.

22. Sept. 2014 · LA Guns say in a statement: “Scotty Griffin and the band have decided to part ways. As our bassist off-and-on for the past seven years, including our latest release Hollywood Forever, Scotty has been a true road warrior, a stellar musician, and a better friend.
His dynamic performance complimented Guns’ raw rock n’ roll energy, and he hit the ground running as the new lead guitarist. In September of 2014, Kenny Kweens replaced Scotty Griffin as the band's bassist. The current band’s lineup includes Steve Riley, Kelly Nickels, Scott Griffin and Kurt Frohlich.
