Yoko has always struck me as being very aware and defiant of the position and profile she had in the public eye, always proudly redefining herself, her feminine identity, her cheeky humor, and her confident rule-breaking stride. This album feels like a very muted and melancholy venture with the same attitude but not a complete departure for departure's sake.
