Syreeta has a distinctive voice and it serves her well on Set My Love in Motion. She is adept at both the ballads and funky post-disco dance tracks, on the former she expresses the romantic lyrics and themes with skill and subtle emotion, they're all very nice, never getting too saccharine or maudeline, but they're not the real draw here.
