Dez. 2004 · Nicht nur die Titel sind fast identisch, auch der Inhalt: nach dem eher mauen "Dawn of the Dead" gabs "Shaun of the Dead", die britische Zombiemetzelei die eine seltsame Kombination vorlegt die auch noch überraschend gut funktioniert: der typisch britische, kauzige Humor (wie aus Filmen wie "Ganz oder garnicht" bekannt) ergänzt mit einem ultraharten Splatterstreifen.
Shaun Of The Dead is very crafty, and more scary then funny but when it is funny it works well. The film pays homage to a very disturbing Day Of The Dead scene in disturbing fashion and all in all is an intense film, one with sweet style, Edgar Wright's.
