19. Sept. 2021 · By the early 1970s, Walker and Johnson left and were replaced by Skip McPhee and Ronnie Pace. In 1975 they recorded “Reaching for the Best,” which hit no. 31 on the United Kingdom chart. During the 1960s and 1970s, the Exciters toured with Wilson Picket and the Beatles.
