Southern Souls is a Canadian music website which features high-definition video recordings of musicians (predominantly but not exclusively Canadian) performing live in non-traditional venues. Jones was born in Akron, Ohio. When he was young, his family moved to Birmingham, Alabama, where he was raised. It was in Birmingham where his singing career started.
