He's like that soon-to-be free agent sports star that gets picked up at the trade deadline for the playoff run, then gets signed by another team in the off-season. He definitely had the look for the '80s, and that probably factored in to his employment record.
A tour to support the Speak of the Devil album was scheduled for December 1982 to April 1983. By this point bassist Rudy Sarzo had quit Osbourne's band and rejoined his previous band Quiet Riot. Sarzo was temporarily replaced by former UFO bassist Pete Way.
