Synopsis. A performance featuring Native-American song and dance that tells the story of one man's journey of renewal. Conceived and composed by Peter Buffett. Choreographer: Wayne Cilento. Vocals and narration: Chief Hawk Pope. Taped at the Weidner Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
As conceived by Peter Buffett, who wrote music for the film, Dances With Wolves, Spirit dramatizes the psychological journey of “Everyman” (a white man played by Angelo Fraboni) back in time to his earlier incarnation as an Indian boy.
