Steve Scalise is the Majority Leader of the House of Representatives and a conservative leader who represents Louisiana's First Congressional District. He served as House Majority Whip and Minority Whip, and led the fight for fiscal discipline, lower taxes, a robust national defense, strong border security, and more. He was critically wounded in a 2017 shooting and recovered with his heroic colleagues.
