Steve Jordan (born January 14, 1957) is an American musical director, producer, songwriter, and musician. Currently, he is the drummer for The Rolling Stones . During the 1970s and 1980s, he was a member of the bands for the television shows Saturday Night Live and Late Night with David Letterman .
" Street Dreams " is a 1996 single by American rapper Nas. The song was It Was Written 's second single, following "If I Ruled the World (Imagine That)". "Street Dreams" contains an interpolation from the Eurythmics song "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" and a sample from Linda Clifford 's "Never Gonna Stop".
11. Sept. 2008 · Sep 11, 2008. #2. I believe Steve Jordan was the original drummer for the Blues Brothers - aka John Belushi and Dan Akroyd. Several Blues Brothers albums are out there with some good drumming from Steve. The Blues Brothers started as a SNL routine, but then they added a lot of good jazz artists and it became a hit by itself.
