Stuart Fergusson Victor Sutcliffe (* 23. Juni 1940 in Edinburgh, Schottland; † 10. April 1962 in Hamburg) war ein britischer Musiker. Er war kurzzeitig Bassist der Band The Silver Beetles bzw. von The Beatles und Maler, dessen Stil sich am abstrakten Expressionismus orientierte.
Stuart Fergusson Victor Sutcliffe (23 June 1940 – 10 April 1962) was a British painter and musician best known as the original bass guitarist of the Beatles. Sutcliffe left the band to pursue his career as a painter, having previously attended the Liverpool College of Art.

The Official Stuart Sutcliffe Estate manages the Stuart Sutcliffe Art and Artefact Collections of Stuart Sutcliffe, the Scottish painter and musician who is known as the fifth Beatle (but he was really the fourth). Stuart is credited with naming and styling the Beatles.
