  4. 3. Nov. 2022 · Cooder fetched up as a guest, but it was the eloquent interplay between Mahal and fellow guitarist Jesse Ed Davis that impressed. As a slide player, Mahal was exceptional. He blew a mean harp too, while the warm crackle of his voice made the songs jump.
