The accompanying album, Bitter Sweet, became their first to hit the Top 10 on the R&B album chart; its follow-up, 1973's Afrodisiac, featured several songs written or co-written by Stevie Wonder, although it did not produce any huge successes on the singles charts.
5. Juli 2010 · Digitally remastered two-fer containing a pair of albums from the Soul outfit. Tasteful Soul was arguably the Ingredients best album and Bitter Sweet introduced new Main Ingredient member Cuba Gooding. Gooding added power to Tony Sylvester's and Luther Simmons' mellow vocal blends.

Bitter Sweet is the fourth studio album by The Main Ingredient. Released in 1972 this is the first album to feature lead singer Cuba Gooding, Sr. Includes the top five pop and soul hit single " Everybody Plays the Fool ".
