Terminal Tower collects the early nonalbum singles and B sides up to 1981. Not a rich source for revolution, you would think, but this is armageddon come a-knockin’. The left and right channel mixes collide in your head, rock music is reinvented, reconstructed, David Thomas sings all the wrong notes with a studied purpose.
