I was thinking today with the announcement of yet another terminator movie how they could get out of the convoluted box and retcon trap that everything beyond T2 has created. The whole scenario where someone gets sent back to protect so and so there’s an even bigger, badder terminator to deal with is like a bad KFC recipe at this point.
I think Dark Fate is the better version of Rise and with the opposite surviving protagonists and better cinematography. Genisys is not good but I find enjoyable as looked as a mid-90s 2 hour TV pilot for a Terminator TV series. I started with way, way, way low expectations and so it's able to rise above them.

28. Feb. 2022 · The Terminator 1984 remastered version is incredible. Got me all excited thinking there was a 4K version of this I hadn't heard about. The picture quality is a big improvement, but I do think they went overboard with the teal-tinted color grading. I wish MGM would finally include the original 1984 mono mix for it someday.
