Terry Luttrell (born 1947 Champaign, Illinois) is an American rock singer/musician best known as lead vocalist for both REO Speedwagon (1968–1972) and Starcastle (1973–1979).
TERRY LUTTRELL: Lead Vocals ( REO Speedwagon/StarCastle ) Terry was the Original Lead Singer for REO Speedwagon and was on the first album released by REO. Terry was also the lead singer for StarCastle, and an accomplished songwriter earning 8 GOLD & PLATINUM RECORD AWARDS.
In early 1968, Terry Luttrell became lead singer and Bob Crownover joined as the guitarist, replacing Matt after he graduated. When Mike Blair left the band in mid-1968, Gregg Philbin replaced Blair and Joe McCabe played sax until he moved on to Southern Illinois University .

1. Nov. 2021 · The truck was, of course, the REO Speed Wagon, though the band closed Speedwagon to one word. After gigging for a while, with Matt, Blair, and Grazter doing vocals, lead singer Terry Luttrell joined in 1968. Soon after, the band membership began to rotate quite a bit.
