Terry Rae – Hollywood Stars. The Hollywood Stars are one of the great lost rock groups of the 70s. Fated for greatness with a sound that perfectly fused hard rock, glam and proto-punk, it was only misfortune that hindered the band living up to their name.
The new lineup featured original members Mark Anthony (lead vocals and rhythm guitar), Reuben De Fuentes (lead guitar) and Terry Rae (drums), along with new members Michael Rummans (bass, previously with The Sloths) and second drummer Bobby Drier.

In 1965, he put together the Driftones that later became The Yellow Payges. In 1966, Terry joined the Palace Guard – the house band at the Hullabaloo Club in Hollywood, replacing Emmit Rhodes.

26. Feb. 2023 · In 1976, he and Mark Anthony reformed The Hollywood Stars with Terry Rae, Ruben de Fuentes, and Bobby Drier. That version of the group recorded “Sound City” and “The Hollywood Stars” (Arista).
