The Clay Pigeon. 1949. Makes no sense, doesn't last long enough to matter. I've recently discovered several short (an hour, give or take) noirs. A little noir goes a long way for me, so these shorter films have been perfect. This one is no exception. The story is engaging enough, but would have been too drawn out as a full length feature film.
