Maybe I’m Amazed (1970) The Faces were always up for a good cover, and when Ian McClagan and Ronnie Lane heard this Paul McCartney solo gem on a car radio in Connecticut it was in their set list for the next gig. This live version from the Long Player album is ample proof of what a wise decision that was. 9.

Faces are an English rock band formed in 1969 by members of Small Faces after lead singer and guitarist Steve Marriott left to form Humble Pie. The remaining Small Faces—Ian McLagan, Ronnie Lane, and Kenney Jones —were joined by guitarist Ronnie Wood and singer Rod Stewart, both from the Jeff Beck Group, and the new line-up was renamed Faces.
Faces is een Britse rockgroep uit de jaren zestig en zeventig. De groep werd gevormd in 1969, nadat Steve Marriott de band Small Faces verliet om de eigen band Humble Pie op te richten.
