Gegründet. Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, Vereinigte Staaten. The Flamingos waren eine schwarze Doo-Wop-Gesangsband, die vor allem in den 1950er und frühen 1960er Jahren erfolgreich war. Bandgeschichte: Die Band entstand 1952 in Chicago als die Cousins Zeke und Jake Carey zusammen mit Johnny Carter und Paul Wilson ein Gesangsquartett gründeten.
