The Florentine:
About 500 people took part at The Florentine Day held at Palazzo San Niccolò on September 14 for interviews, seminars and creative workshops. We partner with US non-profit Advancing Women Artists on The First Last crowdfunding campaign. 409 people from 19 countries gave 67,810 dollars to restore nun-artist Plautilla Nelli’s Last Supper and return it to public view.
The film was shot in the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania in the cities of Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, and in the Lehigh Valley borough of Hellertown. The Florentine is a 1999 film directed by Nick Stagliano and produced by Francis Ford Coppola's American Zoetrope. It stars Jeremy Davies,Michael Madsen, and Chris Penn.
