1. 1mo. evn. 81. This record, while eerie, feels a lot less ambitious than the album before it. While Metal Box had it's iconic basslines, The Flowers of Romance has it's creepy drumming to keep it alive throughout the album, however the heart doesn't beat nearly as much.

I found this for a song in a 2nd hand bin with a slightly scuffed/worn cover (no obi) but not a click or pop on the disc. My goodness this Japanese pressing is fantastic - the pressing is dead quiet and the music is bright, dynamic and punchy.
