The Halls of Ivy is an American situation comedy that ran from 1950 to 1952 on NBC radio, created by Fibber McGee & Molly co-creator/writer Don Quinn. The series was adapted into a CBS television comedy (1954–55) produced by ITC Entertainment and Television Programs of America.

Season 1. A day of interminable waiting while the college board of governors makes up its collective mind to appoint Dr. Hall to the presidency for another five years. A series of interruptions delay the announcement. Dr. Hall discovers one of his retiring professors has written a scandalous novel.
Ivy College has a mandatory retirement age for it's instructors and beloved Professor Warren has reached it. Dr. Hall tries to figure out some way for his colleague to stay on.
