by Pupi Avati. synopsis. In the winter of 1271, the mortal remains of Luis IX, the Holy King, are carried across the Italian peninsula by his retiring army. The seventh Crusade, which aimed at converting and defeat Tunis, has badly failed. During this sad long funeral, five knights meet.

Rambling and dull. grantss 13 November 2021. In the 13th century a group of knights set out to find a sacred relic in Greece. This piqued my interest as it seemed like an epic medieval tale, complete with a quest and all things knight-related.
