The Leslie Uggams Show is an American variety television series starring actress/singer Leslie Uggams. The series aired on CBS as part of its 1969 fall lineup, and was the second variety series to feature an African American host, the first since the 1956 - '57 The Nat King Cole Show on NBC.

In 1970, Leslie again made history by becoming the first African-American woman to star in her own musical variety television series, The Leslie Uggams Show, on CBS-TV. She also signed a new recording contract with Atlantic Records. In 1972, she made her dramatic film debut opposite Charlton Heston in the MGM motion picture
