The Papas & The Mamas is the fourth studio album by the American folk rock, vocal group the Mamas and the Papas, released in 1968. The most recognizable recording “Twelve Thirty (young girls are coming to the canyon)” was written by band member Cass Elliot in the early 60s when she first moved to California’s Laurel Canyon.
