During their early days, they were known as Ed Banger and the Nosebleeds, until the departure of singer Ed Banger (Ed Garrity).

A nosebleed, also known as epistaxis, is an instance of bleeding from the nose. [1] . Blood can flow down into the stomach, and cause nausea and vomiting. [8] . In more severe cases, blood may come out of both nostrils. [9] . Rarely, bleeding may be so significant that low blood pressure occurs. [1] .

Most nosebleeds affect one nostril only. Bleeding typically comes from the front of the septum, the piece of tissue that divides the nostrils.
Nosebleeds usually come from the front part of the nose (anterior nosebleed). The bleeding comes from small blood vessels in the cartilage that separates the two nostrils (called the nasal septum). The nasal septum contains many blood vessels, and bleeding from this site may result in a lot blood.
