One of the greatest predecessors of all of these fine women was the 1964 all-girl garage band from Detroit called The Pleasure Seekers. There was kind of a black lights and beer can collections teen subculture in the sixties and the seventies which existed throughout the country, especially in the Midwest and many people will agree that this subculture was at its peak in Detroit.
The Pleasure Seekers is the third album recorded by American band The System, released in the United States under the Mirage-Atlantic label.
