Die legendäre Folk-Band aus dem Norden Irlands. Seit mittlerweile fünfzig Jahren gehört die Sands Family zu den wichtigsten Vertretern der traditionellen irischen Musik. Inspiriert von ihren Eltern Bridie und Mick (Sängerin und Fiddlespieler), beschäftigten sich die Geschwister schon früh mit der traditionellen irischen Musik.
