The Stanway School is a non-selective 11-16 academy in the west side of Stanway. The school was founded in 1956 and has grown over time to now house 1400 students across 5 year groups.
A mixed 11-16 comprehensive school in Colchester, Essex, with a wide catchment area and high academic, cultural and sporting expectations. Rated as a 'good' school by Ofsted in 2013 and the highest performing non-selective school in North-East Essex in 2015.
