Enjoy kayaking, fishing and waterfront hiking at Beaverdam Reservoir in Ashburn. Featuring over 600 acres of total parkland, Beaverdam is available to the public via a partnership between NOVA Parks and Loudoun Water. Please note that GPS applications are still updating to recognize Water Vista Drive and the park entrance road.
1. März 2024 · Loudoun Water and NOVA Parks announced today that Reservoir Park will open to the public on October 21, 2024. Beginning at noon, the public will have access to the park, including picnic pavilions, hiking, fishing, boat launch and interpretive exhibits.
Together, Loudoun Water and NOVA Parks have developed Reservoir Park to promote the health and wellness of local residents and visitors.

On fair-weather weekends, this small lot can quickly fill to capacity, even before 9 am. Follow the blue blazes as you continue on across the top of the reservoir. Using Mt. Hope Road as the new starting point, you’ll reach a gravel road that runs behind single-family homes in the Preserve at Goose Creek at the 1.9-mile mark.
You’ll be on a gravel road for some time as you’re led past the dam and over Beaverdam Creek. The gravel road ends at the 3.2-mile mark (Reservoir Road). On the left is the Reservoir Road trailhead.
