He also added his guitar work to Gary Wright's song, "Power of Love", off the 1975 album, The Dream Weaver. He released two more Montrose band albums in the rock/vocal format (Warner Bros. Presents Montrose! (1975) and Jump on It (1976), featuring vocalist Bob James replacing Hagar and adding Jim Alcivar on keyboards.
The track "Power of Love" featured Wright's Warner Bros. labelmate Ronnie Montrose on electric guitar. The album's success was a slow but steady accomplishment as the album eventually peaked at number 7 on the U.S. Billboard Top LPs & Tape chart in the spring of 1976.

Wright's breakthrough album, The Dream Weaver (1975), came after he had spent seven years in London as, alternately, a member of the British blues rock band Spooky Tooth and a solo artist on A&M Records.
This is an album of keyboard music. With the exception of drums and vocals (and Ronnie Montrose's guitar on "Power Of Love", all the music heard was produced by keyboard instruments. On labels: Made in UK.
