Theodore Roosevelt Jr. was a Brigadier General in the U.S. Army who led the 4th Infantry Division in the Normandy invasion of France on June 6, 1944. He received the Congressional Medal of Honor for gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty. He died in France on July 12, 1944.
