  1. I am currently an Associate Professor of Atmospheric Science at MIT, in the department of Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences (EAPS). My group combines theory and idealized numerical modeling experiments to understand the dynamics of Earth's atmosphere and the stability of the climate system.

  2. Monster Magnet is an American rock band, founded in Red Bank, New Jersey in 1989 by Dave Wyndorf (vocals and guitar), John McBain (guitar) and Tim Cronin (vocals and drums). The band has since gone through several lineup changes, leaving Wyndorf as the only constant member.

  4. The Executive Committee of the Corporation has approved the promotion of Tim Cronin to Associate Professor Without Tenure effective July 1, 2022. A climate scientist, Cronin’s research focuses on convection, radiation, and clouds to create numerical modeling experiments that help us understand the stability of the Earth’s climate.
