Alongside Mayall, already a star thanks to The Young Ones, the cast also included two other actors who would later pop up in Blackadder – Jim Broadbent and Tim McInnerny.

Adored the story— and what an ending. I've read more than one Poirot, and as much as I love him, I think Miss Marple has me hooked in a different way. I'll look into MatV— I saw an adaptation years ago with Tim McInnerny as the vicar but I've more or less completely forgotten how it goes.
